Why bulk WhatsApp senders get your number banned
The tools that promise unlimited messages work by pretending to be a phone. Meta can tell.
If a tool offers unlimited WhatsApp messages for a flat monthly fee and no Meta approval, it is almost certainly automating the consumer app rather than using the official API.
How the ban actually happens
Meta does not need to inspect your messages. Sending patterns give it away: hundreds of first-contact messages in minutes, identical text, no replies coming back. That profile is what a spam account looks like, and the number is restricted or removed.
What the official route costs you
Business-initiated conversations are charged by Meta per conversation, and marketing messages must use a template you registered in advance. That is slower and it costs money.
What it buys you
- The number cannot be banned for sending through the official channel.
- The green verified badge becomes possible.
- Delivery and read receipts are real data you can act on.
- The number survives, which is the whole point — a banned number takes your customer history with it.
The trade is real. But a cheap send that costs you the number your customers already have saved is not a saving.
